These terms set out how visitors may use the fittkereso.hu website (the website). By using the website you accept them. How we process personal data is described in the privacy notice.

2. The service

  • The website is a free price comparison and information service for bicycles and e-bikes; no account needed.
  • We do not sell anything. The products on the website are offered by webshops. You buy on the webshop’s site, under its terms, and the contract is between you and the webshop; we are not a party to it, so the webshop is responsible for delivery, warranty and guarantee.
  • We collect the offers from the webshops’ product feeds and pages, and match them to products partly automatically, with processing that also uses artificial intelligence.
  • Some webshops have not agreed to be named. We show their offers anonymously: with the price, the condition and, where known, the size and colour, without the webshop’s name or a link to it. The market price, the price history and the price alerts take these offers into account too.
  • A product’s offers are sorted by price; payment does not influence the order. Webshops may pay for the visits the website sends them: [TO BE VERIFIED: the agreements with the webshops, and how this must be disclosed].

3. Prices and product data

  • Prices, stock information and product data come from the webshops and are refreshed regularly, typically daily. They may therefore differ from what the webshop shows right now, and may contain errors. Always check the price and terms on the webshop’s site before you buy: the webshop’s data prevails.
  • Product specifications are compiled automatically from several webshops’ data; they too may contain errors or gaps.
  • The market price (lowest, mean, highest) and the price history are indicative figures computed from the offers we see, not the manufacturer’s or the webshops’ official prices.

4. Finder, saved recommendations, comparison

  • The finder scores products against your answers and their specifications by fixed rules. The result is for information only, not professional advice; the decision is yours.
  • You may save your recommendations; section 2.6 of the privacy notice covers that. The products you add to the comparison are stored only by your browser.

5. Price alerts

5.1. Using the service

On a product page, the “Price alert” button lets you ask us to e-mail you when the product’s price falls to your target price or lower. The service is free. The alert starts once you confirm your e-mail address: the link in the confirmation e-mail is valid for 48 hours. One address may have at most 20 alerts. You may only give your own e-mail address.

5.2. The price and the alert

  • The price is the product’s lowest current offer in new condition, from any webshop - including those that have not agreed to be named.
  • We check the prices once a day, so we may miss a price that lasts only a short time. We do not guarantee when an alert arrives or that it is delivered, nor that the price or stock is still valid when you open it.
  • We alert you when the price reaches your target or falls below it; after that, again when the price falls further, or rises above the target and then falls below it again. We send at most one e-mail per address a day, listing every alert of yours that was met that day.
  • Our e-mails contain no advertising.

5.3. Duration, unsubscribing

An alert lives for 6 months from its confirmation or its last renewal; we send a reminder 7 days before it expires, and you can renew it on your price alerts page. You can unsubscribe in one click from any of our e-mails, and change or delete your alerts at any time on your price alerts page.

5.4. Misuse, ending the service

Giving someone else’s address, and automated or mass use of the service, are prohibited. We may delete undeliverable addresses and alerts created in misuse, and limit the number of requests. We may change or end the service; before ending it we will e-mail the owners of live alerts.

6. External sites

The website links to the webshops’ sites. Each webshop is responsible for its content, offers, data processing and terms; once you follow a link, the webshop’s terms govern your relationship with it.

7. Using the website

It is prohibited:

  • to download or copy the website’s content automatically or in bulk (for example with robots);
  • to disrupt the website or get around its security measures;
  • to misuse the forms or give other people’s data.

8. Intellectual property

The website’s content, design and database are protected by law (Hungarian Act LXXVI of 1999 on copyright, including the database maker’s right). The names and logos of the webshops, manufacturers and brands, and the product images, belong to their owners. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Liability

We run the website to the best of our knowledge but do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. We are not liable for the accuracy of the webshops’ data shown on it, for decisions based on that data, or for the webshops’ performance. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to damage to life, physical integrity or health (Section 6:152 of the Hungarian Civil Code).

10. Partner portal

Webshops use the partner portal under a separate agreement with them; these terms apply to the website’s visitors.

11. Contact and complaints

12. Changes, governing law

We may change these terms; we publish each change on this page with a new version number and effective date. We also e-mail the owners of live alerts about material changes to the price alerts. Hungarian law governs these terms.
